Hi, I am Kathryn! Saydia and I met because we picked the same number at camp, and then my life literally changed forever. One coincidence of sitting at the same lunch table in 5th grade turned into being best friends and planning our weddings in middle school, that turned into standing by her at her real wedding today :)

Hi, I am Matthew! When I first met Caleb, he showed my wife and I how to swing dance through FaceTime before our wedding. A few months later, he was playing Mario Cart with my groomsmen at my bachelor party. Truly, I have never met a more approachable and kind guy. It has been a pleasure to watch him begin and grow in his relationship with Saydia, and it becomes more evident every day that they are perfect for each other.

Hi, I’m Lexi! I had the honor of meeting Saydia on our middle school soccer team :) We instantly became friends and grew even closer in sophomore year of high school where we attended the same church. She is such a kindhearted person and I’m so grateful to be apart of her life

I am Saydia’s brother Jaxton. I know my sister through all the memories we’ve shared growing up, from the good times to the tough moments. I love her because she’s always been there for me, no matter what. She means a lot to me, and I’m grateful to have her as my sister.

Hi, I’m Faith and I’m the sister of the groom. I met Saydia in 2022 at Scootin Boots (before my brother, might I add) and we’ve been dancing together ever since.

Hello I’m Teddy. I met Caleb early on during our freshman year at ASU. We became very good friends and roommates, and shared many experiences enjoying ASU sporting events, intramural sports, and fantasy football.

I’m Anya! Saydi and I met in elementary school when I sat down on the swings next to her at recess and told her that because she’s a redhead, she’ll be extinct in 100 years. I’m not sure where that came from, but I guess it left a lasting impression, since I get the honor of watching her walk down the aisle now.

Hello everyone, I'm Jason. I met Caleb at ASU, where we both studied biomedical engineering as undergraduates and Master's students. We become friends not only from being in the same classes but also from the same research and internship positions. Our running joke was that we'd both end up working in the same company because of those coincidences. Although it hasn't happened yet, whose to say it won't at some point in the future. Caleb is a great guy and one of my closest friends from ASU. I am honored to have been chosen as one of his groomsmen.

Hi, I’m Grace, I’m so excited to be a part of Saydia’s special day! Ever since meeting at young life camp at ASU, we bonded over so many special things, and have shared such wonderful memories together. I will cherish our time together as roomies :)

Hi, my name is Edrik Vachier! I met The Fisherman in YoungLife club a while ago and initially bonded over our relationships with God and the pain of engineering classes. As the years went on, our relationship starting from C3 for YoungLife expanded beyond those doors to attending church every morning at redemption and Bible studies, with our shared hobby of country dancing, and into a closer nit group of friends in college! In my personal friendship with Caleb, I have seen how God has been working in his life, and I have seen the wonderful man of God that he has become! I am more than excited to see him getting to take on the further refining responsibility of being a great husband to Saydia (good luck my man…)

I  met saydia in 3rd grade, we became especially close friends when we would be stuck at little league practice for hours a week because of our parents yapping. We now carry those same traits and constantly talk about various subjects for too long. (I left out the dictatorship part) Oh wait do I also have to add that I'm Lauren

I’m Paul Schmelzeis, I currently work in finance at a company in Chicago and am a graduate of Arizona State University. I know Caleb through growing up in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area and attending middle school, high school, and college together while participating in activities such as the CREST biotechnology program, HOSA, and attending ASU sporting events. I’m excited for Saydia and Caleb’s wedding and marriage!

Hello! I met Saydia at the 7th grade fall retreat weekend through our church. From there we became friends, and started going to the same life group until we graduated high school! In hard days and joyous ones, she’s kept pointing me back to the truth that God is good! Thankful for you!

What's up I'm Lincoln and I'm proud to be part of ASU Young life for three years. I met Caleb three years ago at lost Canyon for college weekend, we were in the same cabin together. My first impressions of him was this nice fun, cool looking guy that loves life. I mostly got to know him better when I follow him on Instagram and Snapchat we chat about our day and how is life going and we have fun on Snapchat especially the little games. When I joined Bible study with him and Oscar's place you would be real and talk about what happens in real life, even though it doesn't come from the Bible. Besides young life, we had to three hangouts at Scootin boots and went bowling together, and we went to see a movie. Since then, he's been one of my closest friends not just in young life, but in my life.

Hi I’m Amanda, I met Saydia in college and we were apart of the same small group! Saydia is one of the most generous and loving people I know, I feel so grateful for our friendship everyday! It makes me so happy to see her be so loved by Caleb. I cannot wait to watch how this next chapter of her life unfolds. She deserves all the happiness in the world.

I first met Caleb during our freshman year at Barrett, and we quickly became friends over our shared love of sports. His unbridled optimism about the Suns, his bad fantasy football teams, and about life in general, is infectious. Along with Teddy and Paul, we went to nearly every ASU football and basketball game, enduring some truly horrendous teams while somehow still storming the field or court on a regular basis. After COVID, we lived together for the rest of my time at ASU, staying up late to watch random cricket matches or toss around the ZipChip at 11 p.m. All in all, I couldn’t have asked for a better friend.

Hi! I’m Katie and I met Saydia through YoungLife! Being her friend has brought me constant laughter and joy! I’ve loved every minute of our friendship and can’t wait to watch her flourish in this new chapter, she is truly one of a kind.

Im Nathaniel, and I have been friends with Caleb for 4.5 years. We meet at ASU YL at club and ended up in the same small group. I was a freshman and he’s a junior, he would give me rides to and from club and also scootin boots. I made countless memories such as going to country concerts, country dancing, and having small night outs. He keeps me happy and positive about life, and i never seen him mad once. Definitely the guy to look up and talk to. I have the deepest personal conversations with him and he never judges.

Hi I’m Danyelle! I met Saydia at a women’s bible study— first night we met we didn’t want to stop hanging out so we went to In N Out talking and laughing till midnight! Saydia and I have been besties ever since, her presences brings such warmth and joy I’m truly blessed to have her as a friend.

Hey my name is Aidan, I enjoy Chess hanging out with friends and swing dancing. I have know Caleb for around 4 years, We originally meet at ASU Younglife and we lead Wyldlife together for 3 years and we are famous for our “rizzler” skit, clearly he picked up some tricks that’s the sole reason him and Saydia are getting married.

We first met at a leaders’ retreat and later became co-leaders for WyldLife, the middle school youth group we still serve together today. Through the years, Caleb has become one of my closest friends, and it’s been a blessing to grow in friendship and faith alongside him.
